The Wahoo Municipal Airport is a publicly owned facility which is located just north and east of the intersection of Highways 77/92 and 109. on the northeast edge of Wahoo. The Wahoo Municipal Airport is owned and managed by the Wahoo Airport Authority.
Currently the grass runway 13/31 is closed at this time, it is anticipated to be closed through spring 2023. This web page will be updated when definitive times are updated.
The Wahoo Airport Authority has completed the following projects in recent years:
- $2,000,000 runway extension and taxiway project (2007)
- Construction of 6-place T-hangar (2009)
- Taxiway extension to new hangar, windcone, segmented circle (2009)
- ADS-B Radio Station Site (partnership with ITT, 2010)
- Installation of AWOS-III (2011)
- Jet A Fuel system (completed July 2012)
- Update to Runway Lighting, REIL and relocation of beacon (Fall 2014)
- Repairs to taxiways around hangars to address width and drainage (2019)
- Planned runway resurfacing of paved runway - 2021-2022
