Paramedic - Job Announcement

The City of Wahoo, Nebraska (pop. 4,500) is accepting applications for two (2) full-time Paramedics. This Paramedic position will serve as a full-time primary provider for Emergency Medical Services for our established and growing EMS agency. Wahoo EMS is a combination career/volunteer EMS agency that covers approximately 170 square miles as an Advanced Life Support 911 and inter-facility transport service.

Requirements include licensing as a Paramedic through NE Dept. of Health & Human Services, AHA BLS Provider certification, ACLS certification, PALS or PEPP certification, and a minimum of two (2) years of experience in EMS or Fire Rescue operations, or a combination of related education and work experience in the EMS field.

This position is slotted on the City of Wahoo Pay Scale at Grade G. This grade starts at $19.89 per hour and tops at $25.20. This position is eligible for the full-time benefits package offered by the City of Wahoo. Additional information on the benefits package will be posted on this website in the near future.
