FULL TIME PARAMEDIC

 

THE CITY OF WAHOO, NE (pop. 4,800) is accepting applications for a full-time Paramedic.

Paramedics serve as a full-time primary provider for Emergency Medical Services for our established and growing EMS agency. Wahoo EMS is a combination career/volunteer EMS agency that covers approximately 170+ square miles as an Advanced Life Support 911 and inter-facility transport service.

Requirements: Must be licensed as a Paramedic through NE Dept. of Health & Human Services, AHA BLS Provider certification, ACLS certification, PALS or PEPP certification, and a minimum of two (2) years of experience in EMS or Fire Rescue operations, or a combination of related education and work experience in the EMS field.

Job classification and starting wage is dependent on qualifications, experience and may be increased after six-month probation period. Paramedics current pay range is from $22.49 to $29.23 per hour.
