Welcome to the Wahoo Airport!


The Wahoo Municipal Airport is a publicly owned facility which is located just north and east of the intersection of Highways 77/92 and 109. on the northeast edge of Wahoo. The Wahoo Municipal Airport is owned and managed by the Wahoo Airport Authority.

The Wahoo Airport Authority has completed the following projects in recent years:

  • $2,000,000 runway extension and taxiway project (2007)
  • Construction of 6-place T-hangar (2009)
  • Taxiway extension to new hangar, windcone, segmented circle (2009)
  • ADS-B Radio Station Site (partnership with ITT, 2010)
  • Installation of AWOS-III (2011)
  • Jet A Fuel system  (completed July 2012)
  • Update to Runway Lighting, REIL and relocation of beacon (Fall 2014)

Wanahoo Aviation, located at the Wahoo Airport in the Main Hangar Building, provides aircraft maintenance. Doug Patocka specilizes in single and multi-engine aircraft maintenance and service. Doug has been an FAA License Mechanic since 1989. He can be reached at 402-443-6690.

The Wahoo Airport Features:

  • Pilot's lounge
  • Courtesy car
  • Fuel: 100 LL, 24-hour self-service
  • Jet A, 24-hour self-service
  • Hangars may be available depending on demand
