BUILDING MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR


The City of Wahoo is looking for an individual to fill the role of Building Maintenance Supervisor with our Park & Recreations. This position performs a variety of  semi-skilled tasks in the maintenance and repair of city buildings and grounds. This includes maintenance of City Hall, Library, Civic Center, Police Department and Senior Center. A qualified applicant must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Must possess a valid Nebraska driver's license, and a minimum of one year experience in building maintenance or any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities for the position.

You must be able to report to work within 20 minutes under normal weather conditions. Will be required to obtain CPR, AED and First Aid certifications and able to obtain a State of Nebraska pool operators license within six months of employment. This position requires working irregular hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by maintenance needs and facility schedules.  Flexibility to be available for emergency call-outs during off time may be necessary. 

All offers of employment are conditional upon the successful completion of a background check including driving record. This is a non-exempt, full time position, with full benefits. 

Pay scale for the Building Maintenance Supervisor begins at a rate of $23.96 per hour and tops at $31.14 per hour, over nine steps.You can also view job details by clicking here.
