Chestnut Street - Phase 1 - Road Closing Information
Chestnut Street - Closed from north of 2nd & Chestnut to south of 6th & Chestnut
Beginning June 18, Chestnut from the north side of the intersection of 2nd & Chestnut to the south side of 6th & Chestnut will be closed. During this time 4th Street will be used to access the Saunders County Law Enforcement Center. All other businesses along this route are accessible from side streets. Through traffic should use Broadway (located 2 block east of Chestnut) as an alternate route. All truck traffic making local deliveries is asked to use the north Chestnut Street exit off the Hwy 77/92 By-Pass around Wahoo for deliveries located north of 6th Street (versus taking the detour route through downtown).
