Annual Chlorination of Water System will begin October 20
for maintenance purposes only
City of Wahoo Utility Water Customers
The City of Wahoo Utilities will be chlorinating the water system from OCTOBER 20, 2019 through OCTOBER 27, 2019. This could go a few days longer if we have mechanical problems. This is for maintenance purposes only. To remove any taste or smell of chlorination you may refrigerate your water for several hours or boil.
Please note however, if you have fish or tropical birds, make sure to use non-chlorinated water by either boiling the water first or letting your water sit for a few days.
