EQUIPMENT OPERATOR II
The City of Wahoo is seeking an individual to fill the role of Equipment Operator II, in our Street Department. This position is responsible for performing various semi-skilled maintenance and repair activities for the city streets and storm sewers. An incumbent will be required to perform duties on an on-call basis, as needed.
A qualified applicant must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Must possess a valid Nebraska commercial driver's license, or have the ability to obtain a CDL within a time frame established by the employer. Must be able to report to the work site within a 15-minute response time in normal weather conditions. Upon offer of employment, the candidate may be asked to obtain a Nebraska Department of Agriculture Pesticide Applicator certification (Commercial Rating) within a time frame established by the employer.
Pay scale for this position begins at a rate of $19.28 per hour and tops at $25.06 per hour over nine steps.
